The Pediatric unit at Heart of Lancaster offers comprehensive pediatric care for children from birth through age 16 that have been hospitalized for surgery or other medical issues. Our pediatrics department is private and totally secure featuring seven patient rooms, one treatment room, and a playroom. The hallways, nurses station, playroom and private rooms are cleverly decorated in a beach theme to help put our young patients at ease. Parents or guardians are welcome to stay overnight with their child. A second hospital bed will be made as comfortable as possible for your overnight stay.
We strive for all children to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Through joint efforts of the nursing department and staff pediatrician, we communicate these goals to all of the parents for a higher success rate.
