Clinical Education

The clinical education program is focused on developing professional skills and study habits that promote learning and sustained knowledge. We recognize the importance of on-going professional enrichment opportunities through education. Core curriculum and elective rotations are designed to give students basic medical knowledge in diverse clinical settings. Unlike most rotations, where observation is the basis for the rotation, here you will be hands-on with most rotations. During an inpatient medical teaching service, students take primary responsibility for the evaluation and management of patients under the supervision of a resident and/or faculty member. Students get direct contact with attending faculty and work with Interns and Residents in patient care.
